Experiencing Tiredness?

  • How often do you get a full eight hours of sleep that is recommended?
  • Does your sleep happen a few minutes here and there during your limited alone time?
  • Sleep disturbed because you get up at night to complete caregiving duties?
  • Sleep disturbed bc you can’t fall asleep or stay asleep due to worrying about all the stressors that come with being a caregiver?

Coping Skill

Sleep has to be a priority. If you are having trouble falling asleep or staying asleep - talk to a physician. Pushing through each day will wear you out. It is important to learn to ask for help and prioritize getting breaks from caregiving, so that you can be the caregiver you want to be.
